SITE DIARY
This project is a redevelopment of a 50 year old building that comprised of Retail, Restaurant, Offices an Residential uses. The new mixed-use development will have 24 flats, 4 retail units and, 45,000 sq ft of offices. The project is proposed to be a new landmark of the area, sitting on the corner of George Street and Edgeware Road. It has been designed according to the clients requirements and reflects a modern mixed use building; faced with a combination of Limestone, brick and terra cotta. The project proposal has fulfilled the requirements to achieve a BREEAM Excellent in Sustainability
I have been on the construction site of Regent House designed by Stiff + Trevillion several times over the course of four months, to document the construction process and architect’s role on site in the form of a site diary. The Site diary details the process, planning and management of the construction phase of Regents House. Osborne were the Main Contractors working with Stiff + Trivillion in a Design and Build Contract.
