The project is located in Walthamstow borough, in Stanley Road Car Park. This is a disused car park and the council has now planned for a temporary community project.  Walthamstow has a rich art culture that dates back to William Morris’s lifetime. His iconic style and fame still has presence in the community today. 
People in Walthamstow express their creativity on the streets through murals and sculptures. 
Near to the site there is an old disused windmill that used to be used for oil and flour milling, the use changed depending on the needs of the era. 
Influenced by the mill and the art culture I thought there was a need for a place people in the community can come to - to paint and create paint.
